EXCHANGE & RETURN POLICY

 

You may return or exchange the product you wish to send back within 15 days from the delivery date by handing it over to YURTİÇİ KARGO using the return code, without paying any shipping fee at the time of shipment. If you include an Exchange / Return note inside the package, our team will process your request correctly and as quickly as possible. You may send the products in this way by indicating whether it is an exchange or return.

 

 

For exchange / return transactions, you are required to send your package with our contracted Yurtiçi Return Shipping Code as cash on delivery to Retrobird. Once the product reaches us, if you have requested an exchange, it will be exchanged with the item you requested. If the product you wish to receive in exchange is more expensive than the original item, the price difference will be requested from you; if it is less expensive, the difference will be refunded. In both cases, the shipping campaign conditions will be reviewed, and if the remaining order amount after deducting the returned item falls below the threshold stated in our free shipping campaign, the outbound shipping fee will also be deducted before the refund is made to you. In the case of a return, once the product reaches us, if the remaining order amount after deducting the returned item falls below the threshold stated in our free shipping campaign, the outbound shipping fee will be deducted before the refund is made to you.

 

 

Shipping Fee Schedule:

Orders over 1500 TL: outbound shipping cost is covered by us.
In the case of a partial return of orders over 1500 TL, both the outbound shipping and return shipping costs are covered by us.
In the case of a full return of orders over 1500 TL, the outbound shipping cost belongs to the customer, while the return shipping cost is covered by us.
For orders below 1500 TL, the outbound shipping cost belongs to the customer, while the return shipping cost is covered by us.
For exchange / return transactions, the outbound shipping deduction applied to the customer will be made in accordance with the shipping tariff stated above.

 

 

 

If delivery cannot be completed due to the customer (such as providing an incorrect address, not being available at the address, or canceling after shipment), shipping charges will again be borne by the customer.

 

For hygiene reasons, returns and exchanges are not accepted for jewelry, underwear subcategories, and products such as masks.

 

In order to track your return shipment, you may obtain your shipment tracking code from the cargo company.

 

 

Return Conditions for Promotional Products

“Buy X Pay for Y” Campaign

In purchases made under the “Buy X Pay for Y” campaign, when X products are purchased, Y of those products are offered free of charge as part of the campaign.

In the event of a return, campaign eligibility will be reassessed based on the number of products remaining after the return. The following conditions apply:

  • If any of the products purchased under the campaign is returned and the number of remaining products falls below X, the campaign conditions will be deemed invalid.

  • In this case, the price of the free product(s) granted under the campaign will be deducted from the refund amount of the returned product(s).

  • The remaining balance after offsetting will be refunded to the customer. If no balance remains, no refund will be made; if the customer becomes liable for a balance, that amount will be requested from the customer.

Example:
If 3 products are purchased under the “Buy 3 Pay for 2” campaign and one of them is returned, the remaining number of products drops to 2, so the campaign condition is no longer met. Therefore, the value of the free product will be deducted from the refund amount, and the return will be processed accordingly.

 

Special Campaign Conditions for Exchange Preference

During certain promotional periods, customers who meet the following conditions may benefit from certain advantages:

  • Customers who choose exchange instead of return will have the shipping cost for the exchange covered by us.

Important Conditions:

  • If the customer later requests a return after completing an exchange, all benefits provided under the campaign (including free shipping and discount coupons) will become invalid.

 

 

Tiered Discount Campaign – Return and Exchange Conditions

Within the scope of the tiered discount campaign valid during certain periods, our customers benefit from the following discount rates according to the order of the products in their purchase:

    1. 10% discount on the 1st product

    1. 20% discount on the 2nd product

    1. 30% discount on the 3rd product

Application in Case of Return

If any of the products purchased under the campaign is returned, the campaign conditions will be reassessed. The following conditions will apply:

  • If the number of products decreases after the return, the discount rates applied to the remaining products will be recalculated.

  • In addition to the returned product, the discount differences on the remaining products will also be reflected in the refund amount.

  • Since the campaign structure is disrupted, the refund will be calculated by taking into account not only the returned product, but also the total price advantage created by the campaign.

Example:

The customer purchased 3 products under the campaign:

  • Product A: 1,000 TL → 10% discount → 900 TL

  • Product B: 800 TL → 20% discount → 640 TL

  • Product C: 600 TL → 30% discount → 420 TL
    Total paid: 1,960 TL

If the customer wishes to return Product A:

  • Product A will be accepted for return.

  • Since Product B will now become the 1st product, its discount changes from 20% to 10% (80 TL difference),

  • Since Product C will now become the 2nd product, its discount changes from 30% to 20% (60 TL difference),

  • A total campaign difference of 140 TL plus the discounted amount of Product A (900 TL) will be considered, and the refund amount will be 760 TL.

In Case of Exchange

 

  • In exchange transactions, the campaign structure is preserved. However, if the product order and prices change, discount rates may be updated.

  • In situations falling outside the campaign conditions, the return policy shall apply.

 

 

 

X TL and Above Free Shipping Campaign

For purchases above a certain amount (for example, X TL), free shipping is offered. However, in case of returns for orders benefiting from this campaign, the following rules apply:

If the total order amount falls below the campaign threshold of X TL after the return, the free shipping benefit becomes invalid.

In this case, the shipping fee initially covered by the system for dispatch will be deducted from the refund amount, and the process will be completed accordingly.

The refund amount will be recalculated by taking the validity of the campaign conditions into account.

Example:
The customer placed an order worth 1600 TL and benefited from the “Free Shipping on Orders Over 1500 TL” campaign.
If the customer later returns a product worth 200 TL, the remaining order amount becomes 1400 TL.
Since the campaign condition is no longer met, the initial shipping fee (for example, 139 TL) will be deducted from the refund amount, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.

 

Other Campaigns

 

Returns and exchanges for products purchased within a campaign are evaluated in accordance with the campaign conditions. If the campaign becomes invalid, the refund amount will be recalculated based on the current situation.

 

 

 

 

Required Steps for Customers Who Place Orders Without Creating an Account

 

Customers who place orders without creating an account may submit an exchange / return request by going to the Non-Member Order Transactions section in the menu and clicking the "EXCHANGE & RETURN PROCEDURES" link, then entering their order details at the bottom of the page.

 

- Return Request Confirmation: You will receive an email from Retrobird stating that your return request has been received and put into process. We send this email to confirm that your return process has started.

- Refund Confirmation: Once your refund amount is approved by our bank, you will receive an email from the POS provider we work with confirming that the refund process has been completed. Your refund will be sent back to your original payment method.

- Reference Number: A reference number will be provided by the POS provider used during the refund transaction and will be included in the email. You may use this reference number to track your refund easily with your bank.

IN-STORE RETURNS

 

For orders placed via retrobird.com.tr and the Retrobird mobile applications, where no discount amount has been applied, returns may be completed instantly in our stores within 15 days.

For other return requests, you may deliver your products to our stores and initiate your return process through them. Our stores will forward the products you wish to return to our head office as soon as possible, and your transaction will be completed accordingly.

Our stores will act as delivery points for this process and will initiate the return procedure on your behalf.


 
Refunds

 

Refunds for purchases made by credit card are made only to the same credit card used for the purchase. Refunds cannot be made to a different credit card or in cash. Depending on your bank, refunds to credit cards may take up to 20 business days to appear in your card account.

 

For information regarding refunds related to campaigns, please refer to the campaigns section of the "Distance Sales Agreement".

For installment payments:

    The full refund amount is sent by us to the bank of the credit card in a single transaction.
    You may see the refund amount as a "positive balance" on your next statement. Your bank will refund the amount to your card in installments according to the number of installments you originally selected.
    If any installment payments were already made before the refund, your bank will credit the full amount of those paid installments in the following month.

Refund periods for payments made via debit card or credit card may vary depending on the bank. You may obtain payment details from your bank or check them on your account statement.

Payments made via bank transfer / EFT will be refunded via bank transfer to the same account from which the transfer was made or to which it was sent.

The value of any gift voucher used for products that are returned will not be reloaded to your account. Coupons granted during a campaign cannot be used after the campaign period has ended.

Shipping / delivery fees are non-refundable.
